About the Author

Hugo Alberts, PhD., is psychologist, researcher, entrepreneur, and former Professor of Psychology in the Netherlands. He obtained his doctorate in 2007 on the theme of self-control. As the co-founder of, he provides practitioners with the right knowledge and tools to apply positive psychology in real-life settings and make a difference in the lives of their clients and students.
