About Susan
With more than twenty years’ experience working in health, NPO & academic sectors, Susan specializes in supporting and strengthening people through integrative, somatic, client-centred, evidence-based and collaborative approaches. Having spent many years supporting healthcare practitioners and therapists, she has become somewhat of a “therapists’ therapist”.
She applies evidence-based principles regarding positive psychology, somatic-mindfulness approaches, and adult learning to her therapy practice as well as her workshops and wellness events.
Susan is a farm girl who has travelled extensively and worked in the UK, Africa and South Africa. She recently returned to her roots in the Eastern Cape, South Africa, and now runs a private in-person practice in Kenton-on-Sea alongside her global online practice.
In her spare time, Susan is a nature enthusiast, enjoying camping and the outdoors, walks along the beach, as well as yoga, reading and painting. She lives with her husband, their Dane, and a princess of a cat.
A Personal Message From Susan
I am dedicated to supporting practitioners in creating balance and wellbeing in their lives. To finding ways to tame the inner critic and nurture and nourish themselves so they can be quality practitioners. I believe that self-care is a radical act of professional responsibility.
